Where to go next

Once the six setup steps are finished, your workspace runs but most of Humavera is still switched off. This page points you at what to configure next, depending on what your organization actually needs.

OptionDescription
LeaveLet people request time off and let managers approve it. The most common next step after payroll.
Time & AttendanceTrack check-in, schedules, and shifts. Choose this if you pay by hours worked rather than a fixed salary.
PerformanceRun review cycles, goals, and KPIs. Choose this when you want a formal review process.
LearningAssign courses, certifications, and assessments.
RecruitingManage requisitions, candidates, and offers for open roles.
ApprovalsConfigure who approves what, and the routes requests follow.

Example: a company that has finished payroll setup almost always configures Leave next, because leave affects what people are paid.

Some settings are much cheaper to get right before people start using the workspace than after.

OptionDescription
Settings → RolesCheck what each role can reach before you invite more people.
Settings → SecuritySet your sign-in rules, including two-factor authentication.
Settings → BrandingPut your own logo and colours on the workspace.
Settings → NotificationsDecide what the product emails people about, and how often.

Parts of the navigation are locked depending on your subscription. A locked module still appears in the sidebar so you can see what it does, but you cannot open it until your plan includes it. Check Settings → Modules to see what your workspace has.

Configure the module that matches what your organization needs first, then come back to this list. If you are not sure which one that is, ask Vera — she can talk through what a module does before you commit to setting it up.
