Track your applications

What this achieves

My Applications is the record of every internal opportunity you have applied to and where each one stands. It is also where an interview invitation appears and where you withdraw an application you no longer want.

Required role: Any signed-in user.

Steps

Go to Opportunities → My Applications.
Use the All, Active, Offers, and Closed tabs to narrow the list.
Select Details on an application to expand it.
Read your Cover letter, any Review notes, and the interview details if one is scheduled.
Select Hide details to collapse it again.

Application status

Option	Description
Submitted	Received and not yet looked at.
Under Review	Being considered.
Shortlisted	Taken forward. Your identity is visible from this point, including if you applied anonymously.
Interviewed	Your interview has taken place.
Offered	You have been offered the opportunity.
Accepted	You have been taken for it.
Rejected	Not taken forward.
Withdrawn	You withdrew it.

Example: James Whitfield’s application for an engineering opportunity at HC Corp UK Ltd moves from Submitted to Shortlisted. From that point his name is on the applicant list whether or not he applied anonymously.

Your match score is shown with the application

Each application shows the match percentage calculated when you applied. It reflects the skills, competencies, experience, and education recorded against you at that time.

A low score is often a stale record rather than a poor fit. If yours looks wrong, the fix is to get your skills recorded and assessed rather than to argue with the number.

Interviews appear here

Where an interview has been scheduled, the application shows that it is scheduled along with its date and time. Nothing is asked of you here — this is where you find out, not where you respond.

Review notes

Where a reviewer has recorded notes intended for you, they appear under Review notes with the date the application was reviewed. Where there are none, the application says so rather than leaving a blank.

Not everything reviewers write is shown here. Scores, strengths, and concerns captured during evaluation are internal to the reviewing team.

Withdrawing

Selecting Withdraw asks you to confirm, and the confirmation states plainly that this cannot be undone. A withdrawn application cannot be reinstated, and applying again is a new application.

Withdraw when you have genuinely changed your mind. If you are only unsure, leave it and decide when something is offered.

What happens next

An accepted application does different things depending on the type of opportunity. A gig or a project creates an assignment you will find under My Gigs or My Projects; a secondment creates a placement with a planned return; a permanent move is made through a separate mobility request that your current manager is asked to approve.
