Add a training provider
What this achieves
Section titled “What this achieves”The training directory is a catalogue of outside training providers that every customer workspace can browse. Adding a provider here is what puts it in front of them; a provider’s courses are added separately, against the provider.
Required role: Humavera platform staff.
- Go to Platform → Training Providers.
- Select New provider.
- Under the public details, enter the Name, the Slug, and the Description.
- Enter the Website and the Logo URL.
- Choose the Delivery modes the provider offers.
- Set the Coverage, and pick the Countries where it is country-specific.
- Set the Status, then select Save.
Public and internal detail are kept apart
Section titled “Public and internal detail are kept apart”The form is in two halves, and the split is the point of the screen.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Public details | Name, slug, description, website, logo, delivery modes, coverage, and status. Customers see these when they browse the directory. |
| Internal details | Internal notes, Commercial terms, and Private contacts — name, role, email, and phone. These are for Humavera staff and are never shown to customers. |
Example: the rate agreed with a provider and the name of the account manager belong in the internal half. What the provider teaches and where belongs in the public half.
Coverage and delivery
Section titled “Coverage and delivery”| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Global (worldwide / online) | Available anywhere. |
| Specific countries | Available only in the countries you select. |
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Online | Delivered remotely. |
| Offline | Delivered in person. |
| Hybrid | Both. |
Coverage and delivery mode are what customers filter the directory by, so a provider entered without them is one that will not be found.
Retiring a provider
Section titled “Retiring a provider”| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Active | Listed in the directory. |
| Hidden | Not listed. |
| Deprecated | Retired from the directory. |
Deleting is blocked while the provider has courses against it — delete those first, or hide the provider instead. Hiding is usually the right answer: it takes the provider out of the directory without breaking the record of what was listed.
What you publish is read by every customer
Section titled “What you publish is read by every customer”The directory is not gated by plan or by role. Every workspace on the platform can browse it, including free ones. A description written here is read by people deciding how to spend their training budget, so write it as a description of what the provider does rather than as a recommendation.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”An active provider appears in the directory for every workspace. Its courses are added against it as separate entries, one at a time or in bulk, and it is the courses that carry the skills, sectors, and prices customers search on.
